Course/Tee Time Availability & Rates

What golf courses are available on the site?
There are over 100 US courses and 30 Irish golf courses on the golf network and we are constantly adding new courses.

How far in advance can I book a tee time?
This will vary for each club listed on the site. Generally we try to have tee times at Irish courses 2-3 months in advance and tee times at US courses for 3-7 days.

Why do tee times seem to appear and disappear?
When you click on a tee time and select the number of players, the tee time is put on hold for five minutes. This allows you time to complete the booking process. If you do not complete the process, that time will be removed from hold and appear on the website later for anyone to book.

Why are there times on the site that end up not being available?
The tee time inventory shown on the website is based on supply and demand. When tee times are loaded into our system the inventory is available, but tee times may sell through a number of different channels. To see if a tee time is still available, just start the booking process. Our system will check to see if the tee time is still available. If so, you will be able to continue the booking process. If the tee time is no longer available, we will try to display the closest available tee time and you will be asked if you want to continue the booking process with the new tee time.

Is there a booking charge?
An additional booking fee is charged for some reservations at US courses only. This fee is charged by a third party company that allows us to connect to the golf courses tee sheet electronically. Click on any tee time and check Tee Time Details to determine if a booking fee is applicable to that tee time.


Finding, Booking, Changing and Canceling Tee Times

Can I make tee time reservations by phone?
All tee times must be booked online - not over the phone. To continually bring you the best deals, we have automated the process and accept only online bookings. However if you encounter problems with booking your tee time please us on +353 404 20370 for booking assistance.

How do I search for tee times?
There are a number of different ways to search for tee time availability on the web site.

On the Tee Time page you can search by county, course date, time, number of players and/or discount.

Example: You want to play in Dublin on a certain date in the morning but do not mind what course. Select 'Dublin' from the list of Counties and then select your desired date. Select the option to find times in the Morning only and then click on the Search button.

What information is needed to book a tee time?
You will need to register as a member (this is Free) to book a tee time. Information required when registering includes your name, email address, phone number and address. You will also need to give credit card details to pay a deposit (if required). All information apart from your credit card details are saved in your profile and can be edited at any time by you.

How do I see the Club Rules and Cancellation Policy?
If you choose a tee time that you are interested in, you will be able to see the Club Rules and Cancellation Policy before choosing the number of players and making the booking. This information is also included in the booking confirmation email sent to you after the reservation is made.

My credit card is good, why won't your system accept it?
We only accept Visa and MasterCard. Please check that your credit card information has been entered correctly. Double-check your card number and expiration date.

Did I get the tee time?
After completing your tee time purchase, you will be shown a 'Thank You' page containing the details for your reservation. If you see that page, you have successfully booked the tee time. If not, please complete the Contact Us form.

How do I change a booking?
To add additional players to your booking simply make a new booking for the additional players. If you encounter problems booking more players please complete the Contact Us form or call us on +353 404 20370.

To reduce the number of players in your booking please complete the Booking Change Form.

How do I cancel a booking?
Not all tee times can be cancelled. PLEASE CHECK THE CLUB'S CANCELLATION POLICY IN THE BOOKING CONFIRMATION EMAIL.

If I cancel a booking is the deposit refunded?
If the cancellation request is made before the club's cancellation deadline the deposit will be refunded. If the cancellation request is made after the cancellation deadline it is at the club's discretion as to whether or not the deposit is refunded.


Privacy and Security

Will I receive unsolicited email?
Our system powers permission-based Internet marketing only; sending personalized messages from golf courses and affiliates to customers. The transmission of unsolicited commercial email is expressly forbidden through our system.

When you register on the site you will only receive a weekly email of golf specials from us. You can easily unsubscribe from receiving these emails at any time.

Are my details given to anyone else?

How secure is the information I give?
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. For further information please read our Privacy Policy.

What is SSL?
Secure Sockets Layer, SSL, is the standard security technology for creating an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. The link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browser remain private. SSL is an industry standard and is used by millions of websites in the protection of their customers`online transactions.

Why don't I see the SSL padlock when booking?
Our booking engine is usually `framed` into other sites. This is like having two browser windows in one, but you can not easily see the address line and other information, such as the SSL status (padlock), in the second browser or frame. To verify that the framed window is transmitting using the HTTPS protocol you can right click anywhere in the frame (just not on an image) and select Properties from the pop-up menu. If you look at the Address line in the Properties window, you will see that the address for the framed page is an HTTPS address.


Weather Policy

What happens if the course has temporary tees or greens?
We endeavor at all times to notify customers of planned changes to the golf course.

However, as bad weather is inevitable during the course of the year golf clubs may either close the golf course or operate temporary tees and greens at their sole discretion.

Golf played on temporary greens and tees is non-refundable and is considered to be an accepted part of playing winter golf. Equally trolley and buggy bans occur frequently when a course is wet and are determined by those in charge of the golf course.

Will I be contacted if the course is closed?
In the event of marginal weather, unless the golf course is deemed closed, all scheduled play will occur.

It is the golfers responsibility to contact the golf club and confirm if the course is open for play. We encourage you to call ahead if the weather is in question to you.

Will I be refunded if the course is closed?
If you are unable to play due to the course being closed please Contact Us with details and we will arrange for a full refund of the deposit you paid. Please include the course name and date when requesting a refund.
